Ugh. Losing shoes to the inclement weather seems to be a recurring theme, or is it my imagination?
no, you’re absolutely right. i wear crappy flats to and from work - and keep my expensive “work shoes” in the office - so if it rains my shoes are instantly ruined. i mean, i’d rather lose twenty pairs of my flats before one pair of my good shoes, but it’s still a nuisance to continuously lose them.
what i really need are some gumboots.
